I read this article. It got me thinking. How do different generations approach the workplace? Especially in senior and post acute care. How do you all see different generations act at your jobs?https://www.mcknightsseniorliving.com/news/understanding-generational-differences-can-increase-worker-productivity-retention-expert-says/?utm_source=marketing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=NWLTR_MSL_DailyBriefing_102425&hmEmail=&sha256email=de015b2eab727ea324e974f87b62ba10d1977588ce89127b35410f327937ce7b&elqTrack=True
Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that keep us going — a resident’s smile, a coworker’s extra hand, or a simple “thank you” at the end of a long shift. Share a moment of kindness that reminded you why you show up and care every day.
Example Post:
“Yesterday one of my residents handed me a handmade thank-you card after I helped her FaceTime her daughter for the first time. It took two minutes out of my day, but it made hers — and honestly, it made mine too. 💕”
Your story might remind someone else why they chose this work. Drop your moment of kindness below 👇
Many of your employees could be caring for family members with dementia
💜 Many of you show up every day to care for residents as your profession. But for some, caregiving doesn’t stop there — you may also be caring for a loved one with dementia at home.
We want to hear from you:
👉 Are you also a caregiver to a family member?
👉 What challenges do you face balancing both roles?
Your experiences can help others feel seen, understood, and supported.

Hey everyone- I know immigration politics can be a controversial subject, but in these articles we never hear from the front line careforce on what they think or what they are experiencing from their perspective. Know was built to help give you a voice so we would love to hear your (constructive) opinions or what you are experiencing on the front line.

“Not all champions wear medals- some wear scrubs.” This week alongside @NAHCA | The CNA Association|@NAHCA | The CNA Association we proudly celebrate CNAs- the backbone of care. You rise every day, face emotional and physical challenges, and still show up with heart for the residents. If you could give a medal to the CNA champions out there, what would it say? #CNA #CelebrateYourSkills #CNALife #CNApride
We feel that most communities want black and blue scrubs. But what other colors should we make? Let us know!
Let's talk. What are your favorite scrubs? Even if you think they are too expensive, what are your favorite scrubs of you could buy anything you wanted?

💵 Know Your Worth 💵
You don’t need someone else to tell you that you matter — but we’ll remind you anyway.
At Know by KARE, “Know Your Worth” is the third pillar in our foundation for the careforce community. Because the work you do doesn’t just fill shifts — it fills hearts.
👉 You show up for others, even on the hardest days.
👉 You carry compassion that can’t be measured in paychecks or titles.
👉 You bring value that changes lives — quietly, powerfully, every single day.
Knowing your worth means believing that what you do is enough — and that you are enough.
Because when you know your worth, you show up differently.
You set boundaries. You advocate. You inspire others to do the same.
💪 You are not replaceable — you are essential.

💡 Know Your Potential 💡
You’re not just here to clock in — you’re here to grow. 🌱
At Know by KARE, “Know Your Potential” is the second pillar in our mission to help every careforce professional step into what’s next.
🪜 Because growth isn’t just about climbing a ladder — it’s about expanding your impact.
👉 It’s learning new skills that make your work easier and your care stronger.
👉 It’s connecting with people who see your spark and help you shine brighter.
👉 It’s realizing that your next opportunity might be closer than you think.
When you know your potential, you stop saying “someday” and start saying “I’m ready.”
Your journey doesn’t end with knowing your power — it begins again when you choose to grow. ✨

💜 Know Your Power 💜
You’re more than a role. More than a badge. More than the shift you just finished.
You are the heartbeat of care.
At Know by KARE, “Know Your Power” is the first pillar in a movement built to remind every caregiver, CNA, nurse, and post-acute pro:
👉 You bring more to the table than you realize.
👉 You lead even when no one’s watching.
👉 You change lives — every single day.
This isn’t about job titles or seniority. It’s about owning your voice, sharing your impact, and stepping into the influence you already have.
When you know your power — you stop waiting for permission to make a difference. You realize you already are the difference. 💪

💜 “You’ve got a friend in me.” 🎶
Just like every animated hero needs a sidekick, we all need someone to lift us up — during tough times, tough shifts, or those moments when we’re just feeling low.
One of the biggest things we’ve learned from chatting with caregivers is how essential a strong support system really is — especially in work that’s both challenging and emotionally draining.
So… who shows up for you? 👇
💬 Tag that person.
💜 Send them some love.
✨ And remember — Know by KARE is here to be your support system when you need it most.
Because no one should care alone.

✨ Get to Know the Team Behind KNOW! @Charles Turner ✨
👋 What’s my role?
CEO of KARE (I also dabble as our Marketing Intern 😉)
💡 Why am I passionate about KNOW?
“I can’t wait! I’ve been in this industry a long time, and it boggles my mind that the folks who provide direct care to residents, patients, and those in need have no digital home.
We want to give them a voice, a community, and a path for personal growth. Know is going to be amazing!”
😂 What do I do in my free time?
“Mostly try out bad jokes on my family — whom I adore. Beyond that, I don’t have a lot of free time (and I sort of like it that way!).
But when I do, I spend most of it bugging our software engineers to work faster so we can create an amazing experience for our Know members.”
💜 Stay tuned for more stories from the incredible team bringing KNOW by KARE to life!
